Children’s Faith

Children are full members of our church and we want them to feel welcome. We aim to provide space for them to play and learn about God. We have stories, crafts and activities for children to explore. Here are some tips to make the best of the service for your children. First, relax. We know that children need to move and make noise and this is fine. As long as they are safe, let them explore and express themselves. Sit somewhere your children can see and hear what is happening—the liturgy is rich in signs and symbols. Explain the different parts of the service to them. Sing along and respond with confidence. Your children will learn from copying you. Let them know that they are at home in God’s house.
